Today we’re announcing that after several years of helping you find ways to make websites easier to use we will be shutting down the services of UserTest.

We’re really sorry to those that have supported and used the service to date – this has been a tough decision to make.

Whilst UserTest has been a success and made a name for itself in the remote testing market, we’ve decided to put all our efforts going forward into our web optimisation agency – User Conversion.

Existing and new clients of User Conversion will be able to benefit from the remote testing services of UserTest in the future, as we will continue to use the software as part of our wider suite of optimisation tools and processes.

For now, here are the most important things that are happening:

  • As of 20th of December, 2018, you will no longer be able to create new tests on the UserTest platform.
  • All previous test recordings will be retained in situ until 31st March 2019. If you need them beyond this date, we recommend you download the videos.
  • If you currently have a test live, this test will be completed by the 20th of December, 2018.
  • If you have a contract with credits beyond 20th of December, 2018, we will honour your remaining credits and will service your account until credits expire. We will be in touch with you personally to explain more.
